Some people want to have it fast! My parents came to Vancouver, British Columbia from Leiden, Holland in 1954 for that very reason. My dad worked long and hard, wanting a better quality of life than he felt Europe could provide. He tried to get ahead fast in Vancouver, but life was still hard in North America, even as it had been in Holland.
Wealth did not come fast enough for him. I love my dad and got much of my strong ambition from him -- wanting to get ahead fast with hard work. By all accounts, I was considered an energetic go-getter just like him. I missed him so much. I missed him when he was away working hard and I missed him desperately when he left us for good.

About the Author
Richard Koepke is a licensed therapist, ordained clergyman and psychic medium selected by Dorothy to tell her story. Rev. Koepke holds a magna cum laude Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion and Social Sciences from Wagner College in New York City, a Master of Divinity degree from Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, and a Master of Science degree in Education from State University College of New York at Buffalo. He is a Pastoral Counselor and clergyman, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Certified Psychic Medium. Rev. Koepke is a spiritual leader, teacher and healer who seeks universal truth.
