About the Book

Don’t Say That! Author encourages readers to change their lives by changing their words Have you ever considered that maybe the things that happen in your life are a direct result of your own words? In her new book Don’t Say That! How to Keep Your Words From Hurting You (published by AuthorHouse), Marsha Lynn proposes that our words, whether they are negative or positive, become reality. Lynn has chosen examples from the Bible to support her argument, clearly suggesting that in order to change your life, you must change the way you speak. Most of us have no filters, saying whatever comes to mind, but Lynn says that every time we speak, something happens in the atmosphere and our words become more powerful than we may realize. Lynn tells readers to ask themselves what they’ve been talking about, and compare it with what has been manifesting in their lives. Chances are, she says, readers will see a correlation between the two. “It’s simply time for us to change our outlook and mindsets, thus changing our conversations,” Lynn says. Don’t Say That! How to Keep Your Words From Hurting You offers an easy to read handbook that can be carried at all times and consulted for purposes of reminding us to monitor our words. Each chapter is a demonstration of the ramifications of our conversations, and Lynn encourages readers to take control of their lives by taking control of what they say. Perhaps the best part of Don’t Say That! How to Keep Your Words From Hurting You is its uplifting message that life can be changed for the better with the simple switch in the way we speak. Readers will find the book inspiring, enlightening and most of all, empowering.
