HER REFLECTION
She isn't me
I'm separate from her;
The reflection remains
There in the mirror,
Even as I move away;
No one's eyes,
No one's child,
She always looks
So sad to me.

About the Book
There are many facets to a person's life--some happy or sad, meaningful or not, real or imagined... We can never totally know ourselves or others without self expression. These poems are a collection of thoughts, feelings, and fleeting moments in time that could be part of anyone's life.
About the Author
M.B.WYATT is from western North Carolina. She has written poetry for over twenty years and published a novella entitled "AfterImages" in 2008. Her first poetry was published while pursuing an undergraduate degree in psychology at the University of North Carolina in Asheville and has been featured in publications of the First Baptist Church in Asheville.
