A noted scholar with a friend found an obstacle to rest and relaxation Uninvited guests showed up to question his methods of entry according to his personal observation Built in anger rose to the surface as he identified himself with may others who had gone before Tools of submission were introduced as hostile spirits united to soar. The officer on the scene followed up on the sketch details of the incoming call In his opinion on the incident trying earnestly to keep within boundaries proper and small Expected compliance to his inquiries was met with hostile in your face rage The hands of equal justice frozen on the barometer of equal opportunity gauge. The final question left health care removed from centre court The chief Executive in his response an out of control raging inferno to report The chief characters of this off Broadway production acting with hostility in search of compromising clues A unique idea emerges; a friends discussion over at my place sharing some frosty brews. Yesterday Once More The performer moved toward the microphone his audience filled with anticipation Ready to hear his old number one hits recorded when he was a teenage sensation His heart was willing his mind was strong His voice however faltered during the presentation of his songs. His audience composed of gray haired couples with singles thrown in too Top 40 was his playground when people were feeling blue The lyrics he presented composed on the street corners of the local town Birthdays and weddings took on new meaning whenever he was around. His loyal fans sang along and helped him with the words For the price of memories the greatest assembled choir one ever heard When the show was over the audience with souvenir books and DVDs moved toward the exit door A lifetime of good feelings deposited in the hearts although nostalgia demanded more. On Both Sides of The Wall Seventeen years inside a cell his innocence just a dream New testimony on DNA a miracle it would seem Photographers and media met him and his lawyer at the front gate A tearful reunion with his family he could hardly wait. He visited a warehouse, a care dealership, an much more At each encounter he received the same negative score A future filled with promise became empty and aloof. Weeks turned into months as he faltered under the strain Negative voices of pessimism upon his humble shoulders focused all the blame In despair he called the warden desiring a rescue attempt mercifully On the other side of the wall in my old habitat is where I desire to be. Below the Belt On April Fool’s Day An unemployed fan attended a game Competing for a large cash prize he was put to shame He took a shot from a half court spot In reality a winner he was note. The crowed cheered the blindfolded hero as the shot bounces off the rim In a flood of currently his feelings were not to swim Thinking the reaction of the fans was all in his favor He danced around the court in happiness as a good neighbor. When reality appeared he was given a candy bar The moment of opportunity had passed for him to become a star Team officials felt the joke was all in fun Everyon

About the Book
Since the end of World War II Baby Boomers have witnessed many events on the world state that have altered the course of history. Wars, assassinations, attempted assassinations, economic upheavals, the race to the moon, the Cold War, presidential elections, political intrigue, global warming, and the civil rights movement to name a few.
Citizens over the past sixty years have embarked upon an odyssey of exposure to events that have left their emotional effect on families and individuals for years to come. The role of the parent has been questioned and modified from one guidance and respect to one in the present era where reliance upon advanced technology is places to provide a minimum sense of obedience. Every issue of daily living is subjected to debate, evaluation, constant inquiry, and a growing departure from compliance in the spirit of conformity. Influence has assumed new boundaries in the realm of economics, social networking, environmental awareness, criminal activity, and athletic opportunity. Years of childhood development are forfeited in pursuit of success and status in the complexity of the adult world. Innocence is a virtue available for those select few isolated completely from the sensationalism of the media in their constant efforts to report the latest trends of progress. Materialism and poverty make room for acceptance and disillusionment. Escapism is an alternative to reality; not a perfect solution rather a temporary compromise. Search for idols we sadly tend to look in the wrong places.
