“Why are you here?” She asked walking up behind him, noticing his tight jeans and how they so nicely hugged his back side. His perfect frame made her knees weak. No, don’t look, she ordered herself. What's the matter with you? He turned his head back to catch her scent from the breeze, but he didn‘t stop walking. He had seen her walking across the street his way. Just turned his head in the opposite direction to ignore her. “I had to get something to eat this afternoon.” “No. In town. Why are you in my town?” “You’re town?” His eye brow raised. His blue eyes captivated her. “As in I live here.” She had to walk quickly to keep up with his lengthy stride. “In away, now I do, too.” Why had he said that? He didn’t live here. “You moved here?” She asked a little too sharply. “Well, I’m on vacation.” “And Hawaii didn’t sound like the perfect place to be this time of year? Sun, sand, bikini’s?” “Monsoon’s. No. Not particularly.” “And why not?” He stopped walking, turned then looked straight into her eyes. There was something in them. Was she scared? “Because I don’t own land in Hawaii.” He admitted much to sharply. She couldn’t think of a thing to say.
