About the Book

While the cats away, the mouse is at play what did we do? We went to Granddads marijuana plantation, stole a small amount and made ourselves three spliffs after which we started to have a smoke. Before my spliff was finished,

I had to pass by a church as it happened the very church (Church of God of Prophecy) my Grandmother used to take me. I wasnt actually afraid of anyone, but let me put it another way.

When Travis and I arrived at Heathrow Airport check point, our plan was I would follow him in the British line where he would say were travelling together and are both on holiday, but he forgot and went without me, so I followed my common sense and joined the queue for foreign immigrants, which left me in the lurch so we were retrieving our luggage at two separate collection points

About the Author

Trench Town is the home town of my parents Millicent Daye and Norman Crosdale and my birth date is March 26, 1963. The real connection throughout my upbringing is with my Grandmother Bernice Crosdale who lived in the St Andrew Hills of Papine overlooking Kingston the capital city

Bernice Crosdale took me away from the noisy streets of Trench Town when I was only 3 months old. At Papine, she was intent on giving me a new start.  Today as I put pen to paper. I have no regrets whatsoever; in every way possible, she did her very best to raise me. Within her household the only thing that bothered me, was the fact that I couldnt get on with my grandfather, and that was when my life began to go to pieces. In consequence, I decided to live with my grandaunt. She was my dads fathers sister, and had a big family consisting of her husband Joseph Taylor and their 6 children. They welcomed me as part of their family.  As for my biological mother, I never knew who she was until I was between 10 and 11 years old.
