Back at the castle my father was pacing back and forth yelling at his advisors. He appeared to only calm down when Cathleen entered the room, and insisted he sit down.
“Collin, she disappears like this all the time. You know that Cpt. Rulac is out there with her she is not alone.” Cathleen said doing her best to calm him down,
“Yes, but this time there were three attacks on young girls, and one went missing completely. My daughter could have been one of them.” Collin said
“Yes, but she wasn’t. Collin she is safe and on her way back.” Cathleen said.
“Your majesties, sorry to interrupt but Princess Harmony has just entered the court yard.” One of the guards said.
“Send her here as soon as you can I want to talk to her.” Collin said.
“Yes, your majesty.” The guard said bowing out the door.
“Collin, don’t lose your temper. She will only rise to the occasion....

About the Book
A Time Before is a fantasy novel, about a heroine forced to follow a destiny. Our heroine is Princess Harmony of Salea, she will one day rule the most powerful kingdom in all the lands. The story follows Harmony as she is sent on an educational journey throughout the lands. Harmony’s father sends her on this journey to keep her safe in hopes she will not have to live out her destiny, unbeknown to him he sends her straight in to the storm. On her travels she face many challenges. She must twist her way through nobles political games, all the while she skillful hides the secrets of her families past.
Harmony is closely watched by the High Priestess of Lilia. Lilia being the main goddess of the lands. The High Priestess is the one that is trying to keep Harmony on the path that is chosen for her. Harmony knows the path she has to take, and enjoys defying the will of her elders, especially the High Priestess. So follow Harmony through her adventure as she dodges not only her destiny, but the ones forcing her to follow it.
About the Author
A Time Before is Anita Windon’s first published book. Anita was born in Morgantown, WV, and now lives in Pittsburgh, PA. Anita has written books or poems since she was young. She says it is a fun and creative way to forget about the sometimes stressful world around her. She graduated from West Virginia University with a major political science, her main career path has been in the world of retail. Anita now is hoping to make writing her full time career.
Anita enjoys reading science fiction fantasy novels. She believes it is a good genre to escape into. There is always some great journey that can relate to some real life situations, but adding magic or talking animals puts a different twist on the story.
