About the Book

A lyrical meditation on madness, loss, and becoming whole again, Layers takes hold of the heart and challenges the mind. The darks a lights of the human experience contrast clearly and effectively in this work.

About the Author

Emily Welch was born and raised in Montana. She still resides in the Big Sky State, in a cozy college town where she juggles school, volunteer work, and a plethora of hobbies. These include, but are not limited too, painting, singing, manga, physics and astronomy, and of course, writing. Though she greatly enjoys the arts, she thinks of herself as a scientist first, and hopes to one day complete a degree in physics, but she will never give up writing. She started very young, and has been published in magazines and her local news paper as well. Look for more books from Emily soon. They are most certainly in the works.
