About the Book

While there are many books on adoption and, separately, on pregnancy, there is not adequate coverage of the issues involved with siblings in a non-traditional family. This book explains the journey taken by one couple. It provides children with a positive example of sisters who embrace their unique beginnings and demonstrates how they accept the different ways they joined the family. Parents are encouraged to use this as a backdrop to discuss issues with their own children and as a fun and easy way to introduce a complex and sometimes difficult-to-talk-about subject.
