About the Book
Children in America are writing letters, filling care packages and sending emails to soldiers all over the world. “Your Special Soldier” was written with the intention of bringing comfort and encouragement to children with parents or close relatives in the military. “Your Special Soldier” explains why our soldiers are overseas and encourages children to write to their soldiers while they’re away.
In an effort to reduce the household stress, “Your Special Soldier” also provides tips for children to follow around the house. “Your Special Soldier,” will provide support, hope and leadership within military families across the world.
About the Author
Wendy Peterson is a mother of four and the wife of a United States veteran. In addition to these personal demands, she is also a professional consultant, college professor and the author of “Memoirs of a Soldiers Wife”. Determined to encourage and support others, the Mission Minded Maven has published two masterpieces dedicated to military families. Each masterpiece reveals how American families are continuously affected by the War in Iraq and various peace-keeping missions.
