About the Author

Jay Dunn II was born in Aurora, IL, on December 30, 1989.  At the age of three, his family moved to Plainfield, IL, where he spent his formative years cultivating his young appreciation for insight and wisdom.  He had an enriching childhood accented with a well-rounded exposure to the arts.  A robust desire to expand his sphere of knowledge translated into a lifelong pursuit of prose that captures the emotional depth of humanity.  His love of learning inspired an unabated passion for reading, writing--and creating.

When Jay was 12, he and his mother, Diane, moved to Anthem, AZ.  Desert life seemed to agree with Jay.  The sun-scorched days and the luminescent nights fueled his passion for the elusive pursuit of human emotions.  Drawing from a richness of experiences and interests, Jay's words thread a tapestry of resonance, allowing each reader to explore every crevice of spiritual self-actualization.

Jay has nurtured his persona by surrounding himself with a core foundation of family, friends and reciprocal interests.  Jay is firmly dedicated to passing on his love of literature by pursuing a career in teaching.  His desire to deliver future generations to the power of the written word has captured a universality indispensible to our time.  Jay's prose presents his reader with unbounded opportunities for self-exploration--and self-discovery.

Jay also enjoys the love and support from his father, Jay Sr., his sister, Debora, and his niece, Kaylee Faith.
