About the Author
David Turechek comes from southwestern Connecticut, having spent a lot of his youth studying music and camping. He currently lives there with his wife and two daughters, and has been teaching in public schools for nearly twenty years. He has always been fascinated with nature, music, the sciences and language, but didn't really begin writing until after he graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston. Since then, he has been filling journals with his thoughts, insights and anecdotes from his experiences, and is now very excited for the release of his first book of collected poems, Dead Rat Moccasin.
