When I entered jean's cell I saw him sitting on the top bunk. When he saw me he jumped down and introduced himself. I told him my name was Sam. He quickly said he liked my name and he was sure we would get along just fine and I could have whichever bunk I wanted. When he called me baby I knew I would be sharing a cell with a fag. I told him I would take the one he wasn't sleeping in. Jean looked at me and said it really didn't matter, because we would be sharing each other's bunk anyway, because we were going to be lovers. He was going to be good to me and I was going to be good to him. At that moment I felt like a trapped wild animal with no way out. Emotionally drained, I sat down knowing I would have to accept my fate no matter what it was going to be.

About the Book
This is a story about a character named Sam that left home early in life against his mother wishes to see the world. Sam found himself in trouble but went on to become a doctor. Sam never imagined the trouble waiting to accompany him on his journey through life.
About the Author
Armanda L. Warren was born in Windsor, North Carolina and always wanted to become a writer. Armanda Wrote her first book at the age of nine titled "Dolls Don't Cry". Armanda worked as a nurse for thirty years and now retired to continue her dream as a writer.
