"Jirocho started to untie Leon. He helped him to stand and Leon winced from his ribs as he did so.
“You keep that hand out of sight. Do you hear me?”
Leon nodded then led the way to the car. When they got in, Leon told Jirocho the way to his house and looked out of the window pensively as he watched the world go by. A different world now after everything that had happened. Before long, they had arrived at his house. As Leon got out, he thought he had seen Sarah in the window from behind the blinds, but he wasn’t sure. After everything that had happened these past few days, he knew the minute she saw Leon get out of a strange car with a strange man, she would do what he was hoping she would do. He had no chance to check and would therefore have to rely on hope.
They arrived at the front door and Leon took his keys from his pocket and turned the lock. The door chime rang as he walked into his living room and Leon took this as his cue. He walked over to his desk and started looking through the drawers looking for a copy of the manuscript for his book. Jirocho looked on wondering what he was doing.
“You want the Bubishi?” Jirocho nodded, “then let me find it.”

About the Book
This is a time slip novel regarding the history of a document called the Bubishi which has been used by the forefathers of modern day Karate to help form the techniques they currently practice, but its origins are shrouded in mystery. This story is about a brotherhood that has been in existence for hundreds of years to protect a deadly secret which, if it fell into the wrong hands, could be used for ill purposes. The story involves a martial arts instructor who holds the key to an ancient technique which has the power of life and death called the ‘Dim Mak’ which translates to ‘poison hand’ or ‘delayed death touch’ as it is more commonly known.

Neil Frankland lives in Huddersfield, England where he’s a practising martial artist in freestyle karate where he is a black belt first Dan, eskrima sticks and kickboxing.
