About the Book
I created this book with family in mind. This book have the essense of the Southern food I grew up with and the taste of flavor passed on. Many meals shared with friends & family. I hope it will help college students, newlyweds, young people in general, and many that do not have the experience of cooking good food. It should give them comfort of home. They will be able to pass it down from generation to generation. The pictures are the scenes of growing up with good food and fum times.
About the Author
I, Dee Rivers grew-up on the farms of Leslie, Ga. Surounded by great-grand-ma & many Aunts with the talent of great cooking. At age 16 I moved to Rochester, N. Y. with my family. I finished my high school education from Monroe High School. I married and is the mother of 2 children, both have College degrees. I am an artist, Poet of International Poets and I walked 10 miles for MS.. I worked at Kodak Co. for 22 years as Data Clerk and Secretary. My hobbies are singing, dancing,sewing, drawing, writing poetry and cooking for my family and friends. I am now disabled.
