About the Author

Lindy Orist, the founder of The Pineapple Daisy, has been in the Colorado Springs, Colorado area all of her life. She pioneered the concept of fruit floral arrangements in Colorado Springs, when she opened The Pineapple Daisy in 2004. Upon opening, The Pineapple Daisy was featured on the Food Network show Sugar Rush, and Lindy’s adventure continued. Lindy’s desire to combine her love of flowers and her passion for pleasing people to create a blooming business, and now she wants to share her ideas with others!

 

Zantia Archuleta Abeyta came to Pineapple Daisy after graduating from Johnson & Wales University with a degree in culinary arts. She uses her creative wisdom and sense of food service experience to give the fresh fruit arrangements their distinctive personal touch that can not be offered in a franchise setting. Her hope for this recipe book is that others will have the opportunity to be creative and have fun while saving a little money and doing it themselves.
