About the Book

It has been said that a mother’s love has no bounds. Is it possible to be happy as a woman and still be a mother? These are the questions Annie Steck must ask after she finds herself surrounded by six feet of snow on top of Colorado’s Red Mountain. She hadn’t planned on ending up in this tiny cabin with Gabe, who had squeezed her tightly held secrets from her, nor had she planned to feel this way about him. Annie vowed to share her thoughts with Gabe the next morning, but their untimely rescue took all those options from her. Her life unraveling in front of her, Annie must make a choice. With more doors being shut to her in Nevada, Annie decides to go back to Ouray, Colorado. Alone; facing her demons, Annie takes the first steps on her journey of self-discovery and opens her heart to life and love again. Enter: Devin McCabe, a man who thought his life was secured by his seven year plans. His wife and mother to their three children leaves the life Devin had been building for them. Devastated, he returns home to Ouray. He is not looking for another woman to break his heart, when he meets Annie, and finds his heart is not dead. Devin wonders if there is another chance at love. But things are never as simple as they look. Devin finds himself harboring a hidden desire for a woman, whose inner sadness may not leave room for him in her heart; and then Gabe shows up! The circles become complicated as each finds that the happiness they seek is coming to them, they just have to let the circles come full round, happiness does come to those that wait.
