About the Book

Have you ever wondered what children think or dream about? Fields of flowers? Scores of butterflies fluttering freely? How about climbing trees so high they can almost reach that rainbow? Among these beautiful, brilliantly colored pages are these dreams of children and more. Dreams imagined day or night; dreams that could lead to so much more in life.

About the Author

Melissa is 35 years old and has been married for five years to her wonderful and patient husband, Robert. They live in Northwest Indiana and have three (soon to be four) children who undoubtedly keep them busy. Melissa is an alumnus of California University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Conservation/Geology. She had put her “outdoor” career on hold to embark on a new adventure – raising her children at home, which has been quite an exciting journey. She enjoys writing and brainstorming potential stories, gardening, hiking, volunteering at various organizations, and of course, spending time with her family and friends. We Can Dream is Melissa’s first published book of hopefully more to come. It was the result of three beautiful minds that inspired her to reach one of her life’s goals. It originally was a lullaby she sang to her children every evening and then turned it into this wonderful book. Melissa’s beautiful family, Robert, Ashten Orion, Hunter Sirius, Marra Aurora, and Rainier Nova, have given her more reason to live, laugh, and love more than ever, and she thanks them so much for that.
