VIOLATED Tonight i ly here bruised and bleeding unable to fathom how it came to this. How could someone who's love was once so sweet now love me with his fist. I cry out for help but no one's there when I'm thrown up against a wall. Enduring punch after punch, kick after kick, then to the floor I fall. The feet once used to carry me across a room now kicks me in the face. I'm suffering a beating so harsh, so cold, so brutal. Would my mind be able to erase. I'm snatched to my feet by my esophogus. I knew in my heart I had enough of this. Not knowing if I'll live to see another day. I never planned for my life to be this way. You say I make you do this to me. But how could I cause this kind of brutality. That is a truth that I have failed to see. Your bruises are more than skin deep. They are unseen by the naked eye. Before I take another beating from you. Sometimes I'd rather lay down and die. You strip me of my dignity. Now you want to make love to me. The thought of you touching me, kissing me fills me with total disguise. What happened to the kind and gentle man I love. What happened to the man I gave my trust. I'm being violated and I have no strength left to fight. Everything is going dark around me. Faded is the light. Tonight I lay here bruised and bleeding unable to fathom how it came to this. How could someone who's love was once so sweet now love me with his fist.
