About the Book

Rhiannon has reached that delicate        Rhiannon has reached that delicate stage in her life where she yearns to move on from girl to woman and to be accepted as a grown-up.  When she finds an egg that must have fallen out of its nest, it is her natural inclination to care for it - and that is when she has her first dream.  The egg is that of a raven, and her friends warn her that the raven is the sign of battle.  Yet when transport appears, they are persuaded to ignore that warning.  Rhiannon has no hesitation in trading the oppressive customs of her Celtic village for the freedom of the outside world.  However, she quickly discovers that there is more out there than she could ever have imagined.
