Vanie 'Clarkey' Clarke is a Jamaican educator.  He was born in rural Jamaica, grew up in a single parent household, that lacked money but thrived on love. He somehow never thought his humble beginnings should dictate his achievements. Thus he has never learned to keep his voice quiet, using his background and the experiences thrown him by life, as the substance of his beliefs. He writes with passsion and a refreshing frankness and newness never before encountered.
