About the Book

When Suzanne Tassigny is killed under suspicious circumstances, her murder remains unsolved until her daughter, Chantal, returns to France a decade later to bring her murderer to justice.

But the crime is no longer a police, or political priority in the midst of WWI, and her search fails until she enlists the help of her lover, The Honorable Mayor of Bordeaux.

 But in the process of her relentless pursuit of the killer, she learns about the woman she did not know – her mother – and most of all, she learns about herself, and about forgiveness.

About the Author

Françoise Armage-Park was born and raised in Bordeaux, France, and published her first short story at the age of sixteen. She has travelled extensively, lived in several foreign countries, and enjoys cooking and playing duplicate bridge. She lives in Birmingham, Alabama with her husband.
