See You

On one walk I had to do, I had to make my way through a very crowded Torquay, where there are thousands of holiday-makers every summer, and find and join the end of a bus queue. I found it easy enough to locate a bus queue, but joining the end of it was not at all easy. Everytime I walked up tot the queue, the people in it would turn, notice that I was blind, and move aside for me, so that I would finish up at the front. I tried twice, but the same thing happened each time - without my realising what was happening of course. Glynis killed herself laughing about it, for ahe told me afterwards that the look of determination on my face would have made her move aside aswell. Later on during that same walk, I had been trying to find a Belisha becaon. I made a mistake, and found some other kind of post, and stood there waiting for the traffic to stop. Of course nothing happened. Then a lady came up to me and said; "There's a zebra crossing just along the road a little way". I was getting so annoyed by this that I turned to her and said, perhaps a little more crossly than she deserved; "Well, I hope it's having better luck than I am!"
