About the Book
A collection of essays first published in the Herald-Progress and Skirt!, Key Notes offers "slice of life" observations from one woman's perspective as she struggles to balance her roles as "preacher's kid," wife, mother, nature lover, career person, and artist. Written from May, 2001 through August, 2003, these essays also spotlight the human capacity for infinite love and compassion against the dark backdrop of self-inflicted misery epitomized by the events of September 11, 2001.
