Sam and the Boogie Man is a wonderful tale of a young boy’s experience of overcoming his fear of the boogie man in his closet. Sam begins the story crowding his parent’s bed to sleep at night because he fears the boogie man lurking in his own room. With the help of his mother, father, and sister, Sam tries several ideas to rid his closet of the boogie man. After all else fails, Sam and his family play their instruments and make music in his room until the bogie man boogies away.
