About the Book
A sheepy tale about Elsie the sheep and her 3 lambs Grace, Cathy and Victoria. They enjoy playing "I'm the King of the Castle" on bales of hay, along with their farmyard friends - Jack the sheepdog (modelled by the author's own pet dog Jack), Sid the pig, Pat the cow and Frankie the donkey to name a few! This fun yet simple tale is beautifully illustrated and is also sprinkled with British Sign Language drawings for the enjoyment of deaf and hearing children alike.
About the Author
Val is a Yorkshire lass and very fond of sheep! This is Val's first storybook and she has plans for many more. Although most of her career has been in secretarial duties, she has been a 'sheep spotter' from the age of 2 years. Val enjoys walking the British Isles with her husband Graham and their gorgeous Border Collie dog Jack - Jack is featured in this sheepy tale. Four years ago Val created and successfully runs her sheepy business www.sheepdelight.com which sells sheep and Border Collie dog related quality gifts. Val has created her own brand of bath linens and fleece jackets from the 4 characters of her book Elsie, Grace, Cathy and Victoria - ewenique chenille embroidered badges for your enjoyment. Jack the dog has his own range too. Val loves the simple things in life - sheep, fresh air, freedom and mostly her family.
