About the Author

Stacey Alcorn

 

Stacey Alcorn has a background in both mortgages and real estate.  She started in the mortgage business in 1993 while attending Bentley College.  Upon graduating with a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting, she began originating mortgages with great success.  From 1999-2005 she was Senior Vice President of the 13th largest bank holding firm in the United States. In 2000 she purchased her first real estate office and now, with her partner Andrew Armata, owns multiple offices in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. In 2007 Stacey was nominated as Broker/Owner of the Year by the regional franchise, RE/MAX of New England, and in March of 2008 she was awarded by RE/MAX International for owning the top recruiting RE/MAX real estate office in the United States. In 2005 she and her partner acquired Unlimited Mortgage.  Since then, she has also acquired several other businesses including a title company, a debt servicing organization, and a marketing/promotional firm. In 2007 Stacey was sworn into the Massachusetts Bar Association and now practices pro bono legal services in her spare time.

 

 

Andrew F. Armata

 

Andrew Armata has successfully grown his real estate firm to be the ninth largest in Massachusetts according to the Boston Business Journal.  He holds a Bachelors Degree from Northeastern University and he comes from a business management background. While attending Northeastern Andrew opened and ran a well respected commercial property management company.  He became partner and CEO of RE/MAX Prestige in 2004 and was successful in doubling the company profits and agent count in less than one year. In 2007 Andrew was nominated as Broker/Owner of the Year by his regional franchise, RE/MAX of New England, and in March of 2008 he was awarded by RE/MAX International for becoming the top recruiting RE/MAX real estate office in the United States.  Andrew is widely respected as a real estate expert and has regularly appeared in print and other media outlets. In addition to owning multiple real estate offices in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, Andrew is also a partner in a mortgage brokerage firm, a title closing company, a debt service organization, and a marketing/promotional firm.
