(Sigh)
I just can't feel at home in this ol' place any more
This rented, run-down room that hasn't enough room
Eye can still smell her
Even though I painted the wall
Scrubbed the floor
Bleached the bathtub...she lingers
In the air, the over-looked dust
Eye hold my breath but that makes my head hurt
The sides of my skull begin to throb
Threw the couch out last week- and the mattress!
Next is the ceiling fan
Then the ice box
Eye shall shower, chew celery and just
Air dry
Yeah, just air dry
