About the Book
Fast paced and to the point describes this heart pounding thriller. Mary Ann Bailey left the big city police department to become the chief of police of her small home town in Ohio. It would be a perfect retirement job for her while her husband spent his retirement from the city fire department working his family farm. Little did she know her world would be torn apart and her sanity compromised by the appearance of a serial killer. The evil that erupted in the small town of Bering Heights left the crime in the big city looking pale in comparison. The killer enjoys toying with the police in more brutal ways than one can imagine. Could the serial killer really be a resident of this closely knit community? Would the terror end when he is caught? Will Mary Ann ever be the same again or will her nightmares get the best of her?
About the Author
After surviving a disabling fall in 1999, Marion Columbus Morrow was forced to retire early from her job of twenty three years with the US Postal Service. While overcoming clinical depression, chronic pain, and a brain injury, with the help of her sisters and brother and their daily "Internet Therapy", she was encouraged to pursue a life long dream of writing.
Daily e-mails among the siblings brought hope as they shared quotes, poems, and stories. For Sale By Owner, a Trilogy of Terror was written as a joint effort and could not have been accomplished without each others' encouragement and input. This group of siblings has authored more than 700 poems, several books, and short stories.
Marion has been active as a breeder of Straight Egyptian Arabian horses and is now retired. She supports animal rights and rescue and encourages pet spay and neuter programs as well as responsible breeding of horses, dogs and other animals. Although retired from actively showing her Arabians, Marion and her friend, Mary Weeks, co-own a rescued Straight Egyptian Arabian mare that is shown sidesaddle. WRA Summers Kiss has been extremely successful in the Sport Horse and open horse shows. We are proud of her image as an ambassador of what a throw-a-way animal can accomplish when given the chance.
The author lives with her husband of 25 years in century old farmhouse in rural Sandusky County, Ohio. They are the parents of a one grown son and share their home with a formerly naked Cockatoo, two Great Danes, two Lhasa Apso/Pug mixes, two Egyptian Arabian horses and several barn cats all named after NYPD Blue characters.
