So how can we clean up today,
and have a little fun?
Maybe we can run and jump
before our work gets done.
So we jumped on the bed and off the bed
and on the bed once more.
It was such fun until the bed came crashing to the floor!
In an instant Mom was there
and to her dismay she said,
"Oh my! This room's a mess you two.
What happened to the bed?"

"On The Bed And Off The Bed" is a book about children who decide to have fun before completing their chores. When something goes wrong it is the love and grace of their mother that puts them back on track. Is it possible that the children can learn a lesson or two about making wise decisions even when it involves something as simple as cleaning their rooms? T. L. Jenkins is a wife and mother who believes in teaching and encouraging children to be the best that God has created them to be. She began writing books of fun and faith for children several years ago, but only recently decided to publish her first book. Mrs. Jenkins enjoys reading, writing, and spending time with her family. She has a passion for working with young people, and enjoys working in Youth Ministry at her church and in her community.
