About the Book

This book is all about making art easy! It’s designed for either private or classroom use and is geared toward ages 4 to 94. User-friendly and kid-friendly, it contains simple techniques for sketching, drawing in 3-d, as well as fun lessons on how to use color to create form. Each lesson contains a verbal script and visual step-by-step drawing instructions. There are 24 reproducible practice sheets to build confidence before drawing each lesson, as well as art tips throughout the book to make your art experience fun, exciting and successful.

About the Author

Denice Beal has been teaching art for over 20 years to children from pre-school through 12^th grade in Southern California’s San Fernando Valley.  She has taught at private, public and charter schools, as well as teaching after-school enrichment art programs.  She developed a comprehensive art curriculum for grades K-5 for a local private school and she conducts workshops at teacher’s conventions on how to teach art to the classroom. Her students’ award-winning art was featured for many years on public television’s Festival of Student Art in Los Angeles, and Denice has received recognition from the Women’s Council at KCET for her outstanding contributions to children as an art teacher.

Denice resides with her family in Granada Hills.
