As I stood there, my eye caught a glimpse of one of the men’s feet next to mine. They were cowboy boots, but they looked very familiar. I slowly came down off my toes and turned to look at him. He reached out his Hand and took hold of mine and shook it gently. His hand was so soft you could tell he never did a lick of hard labor in his life. Our eyes met as he spoke. “Hi I am Glen Bannister, nice to meet you. “ He smiled and I felt my heart jump clear to my throat. My Eyes slowly looked up and down him like a man would look at a woman, to size her up. He had on a sweatshirt and tight jeans and cowboy boots that looked slightly worn but Comfortable. As our eyes came in contact again I seemed to have come to my senses a Little. “Hi I’m Shelly Burke, I am tonight’s entertainment in the lounge. “ I smiled and Felt my face flush. I could not believe I said that! Entertainment, he must think I strip or something. Then He smiled and his eyes sparkled and as Jill would say, he was to die for! “Nice to have Met you Miss Burke, could you tell me where the elevators are, before we get mugged by Over zealous fans.” I pointed to the elevators just around the corner of the large plants. Most of the gentlemen headed for the elevators as Betsy handed Mr. Bannister his room Key, still totally out of it that is. He turned and gently took my hand again and shook it. “Nice to have met you Miss Burke, god your hands are cold! “ He smiled and gently rubbed my hands with his soft fingers. He picked up his bag and headed for the elevator. He through the room key at one of the other guys, whom caught it with no problem. The

About the Author
Bonnie Mallory Sheldon is a first time Author. While going to Adirondack Community College for Health information thechnology, she took writing classes. For most of her life she worked in the health field. First as a CNA then a medical biller and more resent a Home Health care giver working with the disabled or rather as she puts them as “Special gifts from God.”
Bonnie has always been a writer deep down most of her adult life. Growing up she was always a romantic wanting to always live happily ever after and writing short stories about romance.
She now resides in Florida with her husband. They have two grown daughters and two wonderful son-in-laws and three grand children.
