Brooke & Brandon Welcome Brandon

A little girl named Brooke sat in Daddy’s arms to read a book. Brooke loved being Daddy’s girl all the time. She’d hug Daddy tightly and say, “All mine.” Brooke was carefree and without a worry; she’d run to Daddy like she was in a hurry. Brooke ran to Daddy just for a hug. Daddy would kiss her and show her his love. Until one sunny day, when Brooke noticed Mommy’s tummy. It was quite large, and Brooke thought it was funny. As months and months passed, Mommy wasn’t walking very fast. Days and days much later, Mommy’s tummy got bigger and bigger. As Brooke played with Daddy one afternoon, Daddy said, “Now Brooke … you’ll meet your brother soon!” But Brooke didn’t know any better. She just asked Daddy to play together. Brooke was excited when Mommy came home.  Brooke was hoping she bought something, maybe an ice-cream cone.  In Mommy's arms she had something small.  Brooke took a look and said, "It's not a basketball."  Mommy said, "Meet little Brandon, your new little brother."  Brooke was confused as she'd seen no other.  As Daddy held Brandon each and every night, Brooke cried and cried as she felt out of sight.  So Mommy held Brooke and began to say, "We love you too Brooke, but there's a new way.  A way to be a big sister now, come with Mommy, I'll show you how."
