About the Author
The author, Linda Faltin, has been on her journey for sixty-six years. Along the way, she has been mother of four, grandmother of five; nurse, hospice director, ordained Lutheran pastor. She has lived through many losses: the death of her thirty-seven-year-old husband, of her twenty-five-year-old sister, of her twenty-eight-year-old son. She is also a twenty-four year survivor of breast cancer. And while these sorrows have shadowed and shaped her life, what comes through so clearly in her writing is the author’s hope and inner strength, born of a deep sense of connection to the Divine (the definition of which changes frequently).
