It's Hard to Keep Secrets in Colfax

We stay up late to watch the Prowler walk the street. Because of the darkness, we never really see him clearly, but we are always curious about his large shape. It isn’t so much that he is a tall man; he appears to be a misshapen man. From our window we have discussed how thick his legs are. Brittney said his legs look thick like garbage bins. We compared them to tree trunks and light posts and have settled on Brittney’s assertion for now. Then we went onto the arms and once again Brittney suggested they looked like someone had stuffed bowling balls under his skin. They are bigger than golf balls, perhaps they look more like baseballs, but we stuck to bowling balls because it sounds more menacing.

In any case we are curious about his figure. His thick chest, wide torso, groin... We want to know about his shape. About him. It has crossed our minds more than once, while eating chocolate, what he must feel like. If the rest of his body is so large and gorgeous, we can only imagine how large he must secretly be. Sometimes we try and compare the bulge in his pants to something we have seen before. But honestly, because it is so dark and because it wouldn’t be fair to him, we have never spoken of how large it really must be.

His light skin is such a contrast to his black coat; like a black and white picture, but his face always remains hidden by shadows. Jane says she knows who he is. She says she has seen him. The rest of us don’t believe her because she says he is ugly. For this reason we think Jane is a liar. We don’t like liars; we don’t like Jane.
