Close to Paradise

About the Book

Close to Paradise is a time travel romance adventure story. Caroline Newhart has left her home in North Carolina and is on her way out West to find her sister, Emily. The last postcard form her sister was mailed in Paradise Arizona. When she gets there, she fmds that Emily and her friend Meredith have been there, but they are not there now and no one seems to know where they might have gone. Is it possible they have gone back in time as the gypsy Aurora suggests?

About the Author

Jenny Bass grew up in the Ozarks, but now lives in East Texas. She graduated from Avila College in Kansas City with a degree in art and teacher's certificate. She worked for Longview Art Council in the Arts in Education program. But her first love has always been writing. She has written and published over sixty short stories and two full length novels.

          "Close to Paradise" won third place in a nationwide contest competing with over 500 entries.                                                                                               

Jenny is a member of East Texas Writer’s Association. She wrote poetry and stories for their anthologies and did the illustrations.
