About the Author

Mr. Corson spent most of his thirty year teaching career in one inner-city public school, with a span of nine years in the Chapter One reading pull-out program.

            He grew up on Woodland Avenue in Southwest Philadelphia, and attended the Philadelphia public school system.  He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Tampa, and began teaching in the Tampa public School System.

            He married his college sweetheart and has two children and six grandchildren, all living close-by in Tampa.
