About the Book

Need and Desire uncovers the deep desires, needs, and spiritual issues within our character. It takes us to a place within ourself, where we can draw upon those aspects of our feelings that have collected dust or need to be confronted. It is excellent reading for any challenge one faces, because it encourages us to take that step in challenging the unknown, but with the kind of wisdom that brings peace and the opportunity to live.

About the Author

Sheryl Martin Love (The last name of “Love” comes from her dad who is of the Blackfeet Indian tribe), who writes under the pen name Seoria Meyanie, was born in Missouri in November 1956 and was raised by her Native American Ancestors within a tribal family environment. Because of her rich spiritual upbringing, Sheryl’s inspiration to be a Poetess and an Artist derives from her love of God first, her grandparents who were born and raised on an Indian reservation in Muskogee Oklahoma and her mother.  The family is made up of Kaw, Cherokee, Choctaw, and BlackFeet  Indians.

After graduating high school in 1975, Sheryl joined the U. S. Military where she was enlisted into a Signal Battalion. It was during these six years in her life that she earned 2 medals, one of which was for expert Sharpshooter. Her studies in the military consisted of Communications, Photography, and Bookkeeping.  Outside of the service Sheryl kept busy working in Education and Communications. Child Psychology was one of her main studies during her last  year of high school.

Sheryl’s creative urges surfaced as early as nine years old and hasn’t slowed since especially since she continues striving to make her dreams a reality by taking her creative efforts as far as God will allow.  She strongly believes in higher learning and that all things accomplished or learned in life do not come from just reading books- the more skills one has, the more doors of opportunity awaits them in the future. Sheryl also believes that confronting reality means…conquering our fears!

To date, Sheryl is an honorably discharged E-5 Sergeant and raised two sons. She has a grandson nicknamed Littlewolf.
