About the Book

Grief comes in many shapes and forms. It may be the loss of a loved one, separation, divorce, or the loss of a job, or the sudden emptiness we feel when faced with the loss of something that was a major part of our lives.

The Shapes of Grief was inspired by the dying to provide help for those who are struggling to understand the grieving person, and as a beacon of hope, for those of us who are dealing with the different shapes of our grief each and every day.

About the Author

Susanne Johnson-Berns was born in Stuttgart Germany. She currently resides in Marietta, Georgia with her husband and son.

Susanne has earned her certification in End of Life Care from Allegra Learning Solutions, accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

She has been providing End of Life Care, as a Hospice Volunteer, to terminally ill patients for many years.
