About the Book

What happens when two boys with a passion for computers are zapped through the monitor? Anything is possible in Adventures In The Land Of Ketra, a fantasy filled with interesting and exciting characters that spark the curiosity of the boys. The main characters, Jamey and Tommy, discover a way into Ketra through the monitor and computers for them are never the same again. Although the boys encounter many eerie experiences in Ketra (the land on the other side of the computer), these experiences are what create in them a desire to return again and again.

About the Author

E. E. Ricardo is an educator with extensive experience in reading, language arts, math, and computer technology. As an elementary teacher, she has discovered that children at this stage of development have a high curiosity for computers and what happens inside the screen. Adventures In The Land Of Ketra was created to not only enhance interest in computers, but to instill in them a desire to learn through reading. It is her hope that everyday a child will pick up a book and read. The author is an avid reader and enjoys traveling, shopping, writing, and playing the piano. She is active in her church, social, professional and civic organizations and is very involved with family. The author’s catch phrase is “I can do that.”
