Situations Gathered

The Bush administration always received any kind of criticism or advice with indifference and contempt. For example, every time someone said that administration was wrong about any issue or decision, Vice President Dick Cheney always made fun of him or her. He never took that advice with consideration or respect. I cannot tell or understand why he always had such an attitude. Anyone can make mistakes. Why was it always so hard for him to admit he or the administration were wrong? The president was not different either. Maybe they had a deal before starting their administration always to act in such a way.

            During the first few days of the war against Iraq, Vice President Cheney made fun of the comments of the retired military personnel who criticized the style used in the Iraqi war. He laughed sarcastically saying those were comments coming from “Retired Generals embedded in TV studios.” Maybe because he said the mission was going to be accomplished sooner. He forgot that those retired Generals and military staff are very experienced militarily like him. Maybe he was not aware that all of them had to take important field actions one day during their military careers and such experiences cannot be forgotten.

            Unfortunately, President Bush used the support he got from Americans and others all over the world in a bad way. He used that support pretending he was going to eradicate terrorism, which of course, all of us wanted with him. He increased terrorism and terrorists. He helped overspreading poverty, crime, and lack of discipline. He caused many disasters directly and indirectly.
