Pepper's Wish

About the Book

Pepper's Wish  is about a young Pygmy Goat named Pepper. She lived on a farm with her family. One day Pepper announced that she had a wish...to be something different.

Everyone went on about their day.

She set out across the barnyard alone to find a new life. She did not tell her family she was leaving.

After a long , tiring day of making new friends and trying to be many different farm animals, Pepper stopped to think. Their lives weren't like she had thought. It was not as easy as she had thought. Maybe her life was ok after all.

Pepper missed home, her family and her old life. She raced home to a worried Mama and family.Everyone was happy to see her again.

She told them she had a new wish...to be what she is supposed to be. Do you know what that is? It starts with the letter G!

About the Author

I am a retired teacher of  32 years. I have taught children from the pre-kinder age through high school in regular and special education. I also taught classes for the dyslexic child.

 My husband  and I live just outside Dallas,Texas on some property in the country.(Waxahachie)

My "human" kids are all grown, but I have many "goat" kids, adult goats,ducks,dogs, and cats that reside on the little farm.

Their adventures become my stories!
