The Carlucci File

About the Book

Sent on a simple errand to locate a man in a remote region of northern Nevada, private investigator Jack Hollister finds himself stranded at a small rest stop, surrounded by an assortment of misfits, miscreants, and inexplicable events. With no one to trust and numbed by the love of the beautiful woman, Jack soon discovers he’s been pulled into a high stakes game involving an International heist, a mysterious middleman, and the Mafia underworld. Shot at, lied to, and set up for a murder he didn’t commit, Jack tries to stay one step ahead of the dangers that lurk in the shadows at every turn. Will he end up with his love and return a treasured artwork, or will he just be lucky enough to escape with his life? In either case, his exploits are destined to end up in the Carlucci File.
