The sky was black as the very heart of evil. The clouds began crying tears, tears that the skies had been holding for hours. Every once in awhile the sky will remember those battles that have occurred on the surface below, such bloodshed it too has become a witness. The night has also been a witness, for centuries, for my life. It has been through my joys and more frequently my sufferings. I found shelter in the night, as it did not judge me. And we both had the same enemy, daylight. The day had become quite a nemesis of mine, since it seeks to destroy my very essence with its powerful rays that brighten the world. At one point in my life, I was very fond of the day. But then my life ended and everything changed.

About the Book
ANTONIO is a guy who just tries to get around in the world. On the brink of death, Rosa a vampire takes pity on Antonio. Her gift to him is another life. Antonio is transformed by his true love for her: a vampire with a soul. Unrecognized by humans, unwanted by vampires he is mercilessly hunted by both in this tale of love, revenge and redemption.
About the Author
Andy Manuel Ataide was born
June 1st 1983 in Toronto, Ontario. He has been writing for as long
as he could put two words together. His greatest works of literature have been
written, re-written in the quest for perfection. With the support and respect
from friends and family, he has been pushed to pursue the next step,
“Publication.” Andy writes a variety of
different genre’s from Horror to action and Romance. His one dream is to
eventually see one of his stories being translated to the big screen. Sharing
his work with people has been one of the most rewarding perks in his writing
career. His first attempt at publication was for his book entitled “Vampire
Tears” which has recently been submitted for review at Author House. Andy is
currently a freelance writer. He currently resides in Mississauga, Ontario with
his family.
