FORWARD
A negatively charged electron cloud that is held around a positively charged proton enables the balanced sustainability of a structure we call an atom. That is Self-utility.
The raging hormones of a teenager provoke the neurotransmitters of the “reward pathway” from the oblongata to the frontal cortex to elicit carnally inspired mating behaviors. That is Self-utility.
The social pressures of a statesman’s community inspire behaviors from him to draw him toward cultural conformity. That is Self-utility of the group.
The inner peace of an elder septuagenarian expectantly awaits her creator. That is Self-utility.
Although the mechanics of Self-utility cannot be fully explained, the causal implications of Self-utility have been with us for eons.
Self-utility brings understanding of the form, function and purpose for all things that exist. Self-utility brings meaning to the interactive dynamics of the cosmic “dance”. As we inwardly seek the fires of intrinsic determinism, we bask in the stellar radiance of Self-utility.
THESIS:
“Self-utility” is a unified field theory common to all things. Self-utility is the vital quality (law of nature) of intrinsic determinism that manifests itself with its own existence. The theory represents Self-Utility as an innate, inseparable presence that sets into motion cause and effect cycles that determine behavior, initiate change and enable existence itself. Self-utility then also initiates the causal force that powers animation and well-being. Strong Self-utilities drive organization and complexity to grow, to reproduce and to influence change. Self-utility subordinates the physical laws of thermodynamics, equilibrium and entropy in deference toward its own organization and structure. Self-utilities are constantly interacting and competing in network relationships with many other animate and inanimate Self-utilities. Self-utility is the initiator of change.
A Self-utility effects change by interacting with other Self-utilities through “Cycles of Influence.” Self-utility expresses its values through behavior, and assesses outcomes through evaluation (pleasure/pain). Self-utility defines an entity’s existence; it causes some things to exist and some to be overcome by other Self-utilities.
Metaphorically Self-utility is the fire in the engine of usefulness that powers production - intrinsic determinism.

About the Book
Humankind has sought a simple, universal theorem representing the ultimate building block of nature. In searching, we have learned that energy and matter are complementary states of reality. Self-Utility – A Theory of Everything explains how within this universal design principle, “process” is also a complementary state of this same reality. Within this informational framework lies this unifying theory of existence – Self-Utility.
Self-Utility represents a model of internal attributes that initiate causal outcomes. Self-Utility is an intrinsic determinism that wills its host’s animation, wellbeing, and its existence! Self-Utility is inherent in humans, animals, plants, social systems, institutions, organizations, rocks, atoms, energy, ideas and even the cosmos itself.
Self-Utility unites a diversity of “-ologies” under its common discipline. Personal application of this theory empowers us with a cognitively heightened sense of understanding, of insight, and of control over our behavior and ultimately of whom we are.
Embracing the concept of Self-Utility gives us a reference to understand the dynamics of vast interacting networks of any type. It allows us to predict values and allegiances, thus ultimately predicting the behaviors of people, organizations and objects. And it empowers us to direct our being through interrelating cycles of influence. Self-Utility brings order to our whimsical World of whirling dervishes as if in a mystic circus.
