Lynette finally got that call from Wesley, she lit into him about how he let his friend treat his kids, he stopped her with "We broke up". That don't mean shit, you should have told that B.... never mind, you could have been a man and stopped her. So what happened? Lynette asked. She just wasn't who I thought she was, she started out one way, then she did a complete 360. I'm starting to realize that I may have made the biggest mistake of my life, I should have stayed and tried to work through our problems. Lynette thought about what he'd just said, No Wesley! It was time for us to go our seperate ways, I'm finally happy, for the first time in my life I'm living my life for me, being true to myself. I no longer hide my body from the world, it's mine and I'm proud of it, it may have a few miles on it, but it's mine. It's that man, Lee or Leon, or whatever his name was? Wesley stated. Lynette didn't hesitate, she said yes it's because of Leon, he fulfills me, and I don't mean nothing sexual, it's just something that was missing in our relationship. Wesley cut in and said, I really didn't need to hear that, and I'm sorry if I didn't please you like he obviously can. the phone went dead after that, Lynette looked at the phone and thought, damn I didn't mean to hurt his feelings. As soon as she put the phone in it's cradle it rang, hello J&L Adult Day Care, Lynette speaking. Well hello baby, I'm glad you answered, I was wanting to hear your voice, said Leon. Hello yourself, how are the meetings going? Ready to come back yet? She asked. I wish I could be there with you right now, I'd show you where I wanted to be, so how did my boy do on his sleep over? Leon asked. It went really good until I heard him crying later in the night, Lynette said. Did something happen? He asked. No! when I got up to go check on him he wasn't in bed, but I finally found him on the couch with his thumb in his mouth. So I picked him up and put him in bed with me, Lynette said. Damn! I told that boy to not try and sleep with my woman while I was gone, now I'm gonna have to beat him down, replied Leon. He's started calling me mom, I didn't have the heart to correct him, in fact it sounded good.

About the Book
This story is about a divorced woman who finds love again. When you get older, settled into yourself, BAM! Things start to change, your babies aren't babies anymore. The first and only man you've loved and been loved by says he wants to go his own way. You stop and say ump. After a couple seconds you say "See Ya! Wouldn't Wanna Be Ya!". But nobody thought to tell me that life had kept rolling on, and I was the one that had stopped moving. People let me tell ya, I got back on that bike and this time I didn't fall off. So once I got back in the swing of things, I hoped it would be better. Don't get me wrong, I know it's not gonna be smooth sailing, but I'm up for the challenge.
