About the Book
Reverend Bren Gandy-Wilson sees a bridge as a means of connection or transition; and spiritual discernment as being able to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit and comprehend that which is not evident to the carnal mind. In time this ability to grasp and understand leads to a deepening humility as the Holy Spirit leads one into becoming a vessel that God can use for His Glory.
In Women Are Spiritual Bridges, Bren takes the reader on a journey through her struggles with ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder), and how it affected her childhood, family and marriage relationships.
Through reading the Word of God, coupled with counseling sessions from a female remnant of God, she came to understand that it is only through redemption, that one can renew the mind, making the conscience captive to the Will of God. Without this transformation, it is impossible to please God, or make a perfected change and become a vessel through whom God can speak and use for His Glory and His cause
Bren came to know that if she lived the Word by faith, love and devotion to others, she could become a
By making Jesus Christ, Head of her life and Head of her household, she crossed over from the Old Testament Law of Sin and Death (the old covenant of rules and sacrificial regulations), into the New Testament (New Covenant Spirit of love and Grace). (Romans 6:14)

As Spiritual Bridges, Bren believes that it has been granted to Women of God (and men as well), the right to suffer for Christ’s sake (Phil. 1:29). Yet, when she suffers, if she faithfully represents the message of Christ through word and example, the fruit she will bear in herself and in others will far outweigh the cost. If she endures, her afflictions will seem light compared to the glory she will receive with Christ Jesus.
According to her faith, Bren came to understand herself as a Minister of Reconciliation. Her ministry is to preach the elevation of all males back to heads of household; and to help all females understand how to have peace with God through assuming their rightful spiritual roles as Women of God.

“Reverend Wilson’s writing style is in snapshots that give brief accounts of her experiences. BRIDGES seem to be told from the vantage point of a child . . . simple . . . i.e. from a slave narrative.”
– Rev. Dr. Orlando R. Dowdy, Pastor, New
“There is a stream of consciousness that runs from the beginning to the end of BRIDGES. It is the story of one woman’s survival of hurts and sufferings. Once she started to focus not on what was seen but on what was unseen, she was able to gain the victory through Jesus Christ.”
– MR. TALKBACK,
“Thank You for coming. I agree, it was quite a day. Your message resounds with me over and over and over. One of the ladies with me was so very impressed with your message. She said that it is the kind of message we are missing in our churches today. She asked me to make sure I let her know when your book is released because she wants to get a copy. She’s 80 years old and went back to school at 43 yrs. old. Her husband died early and left her with 7 children to raise. She became a psychiatric nurse. She said ‘your message stirred her heart’.”
