About the Book
This is an autobiographical book. This is not a book about the mill town I grew up in. Although I discuss the details of my life it is not about my childhood, my sisters my children, my divorce, or any of the many adventures and loves in my life. It is not about the pain I suffered for months or the results of the undiagnosed source of pain. I wrote about pain, failure and success. Life is unfair. I think money is power and the US Government is dysfunctional as greed influences their decisions.
This book was written to encourage you to embrace whatever burden you encounter. The idea is to understand yourself, be comfortable with yourself, and like yourself. To reach the final goal of liking yourself you may need to change some things and accept the things you can not change.
No one can control what happens to them, but we can control our reaction to it. When confronted with adversity I no longer cringe in despair. I embrace the challenge and celebrate the opportunity to find new resolve.
