About the Author
Claudette Willard was born in Belgium. She was raised in California by a world traveling dad and an artist mom. Her children are the greatest source of her inspiration. Watching their love for life and adventure has encouraged her to write several stories especially for them. This story, "Chloe and Banana Island", is the first one she is ready to share with the world. All of her illustrations are painted directly on fabric using a batik style of design with acrylic paints.
