About the Author

Adesuyi A Ajayi MD, Ph.D., is Professor of Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences at Chicago State University and adjunct professor of Medicine at the Baylor College of Medicine, Houston.  He has published more than 100 peer- reviewed scientific journal articles, and authored 3 other books, including Diaspora Medicine. He is on the editorial board of 4 medical journals and reviews for more than a dozen other biomedical journals.

Abimbola T Ajayi MD, is a board certified Pediatrician who also trained overseas as a radiologist. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and has authored /co-authored several publications in peer -reviewed medical journals. She is currently in private practice.
